Ilya Rodin is a photographer and artist whose primary medium is self-published photobooks and zines. In this workshop, he introduces these formats as flexible tools for storytelling. Participants will explore sequencing, editing, and simple layout strategies, learning how to turn images into a cohesive narrative object. The session focuses on hands-on practice, experimentation, and accessible approaches to independent publishing without requiring specialized tools or prior experience.
The workshop is intended for those who have finished photographs and/or an idea for a photo project. To participate, you will need 50–60 images (these can include not only photographs). Please note that having Adobe InDesign and/or Figma is highly recommended for participation. For the first day, you will need to bring printed images in a small format. Please save your money and do not bring high-quality prints. These images are only needed for assembling a rough layout․
Application deadline: May 11
